Another convention? Oh snap!

Yah, going to AUSA 2009 t...oday..... yah, it's 2:00 AM but whatevs. I'm only going for Saturday cause I'm broke as hell. Ahaha.

But anyways, I'm going to be cosplaying Prussia from Axis Powers Hetalia in his CD cover art outfit. (that dude who gets all the 'chicks' )

This costume's pretty near completion, dudes. I have the shirt, scarf, pants, boots, wig, wig styled, even the little chick. What I /don't/ have yet, however, are the freaking RED CONTACTS. This is because, like I said, I'm extremely broke and the cheapest /good/ pair I could find was 70 bucks...

Also the shirt I'm using is temporary and I need to order the real one later.

So this costume's technically only like 90% done, but there's enough so that I'm /obviously/ Prussia and I'm still awesome~

Except I /still/ feel guilty for not having the contacts, aagghh. Even other Prussia cosplayers I've seen who haven't /quite/ finished their costume still have contacts. Leave me alone world!

Fosrs, this costume is /actually/ going to be done by February for Katsucon 2010 instead. But enough about that. I'm pretty excited to be going to AUSA, even if it's only for a day~ Why??

Steven freaking Blum, that's why.

/Yes/. Steven. Blum. He happens to be one of my favorite voice actors evar, next to Tara Strong who simply kicks ass. I've been trying to go to one of Steve Blum's panels for about... hmm... Three years now? He was actually at my first con I went to, when of course I only barely knew who he was. And then started obsessing really admiring him about two weeks later. Like srsly... timing is just wonderful like that.

But anyways! I'll be sure to take lots of video, pictures, and document my stuffs. For now I need to finish finding things I need to bring to the con! Ciao!!
